
Pier 1 – E-commerce Experience Redesign
I worked on designing the UI/UX for Pier 1 Imports’ new online shopping experience in collaboration with a third-party development team. The goal was to create a seamless, visually engaging, and easy-to-navigate e-commerce journey that improved how users discover and purchase products.

Defining the Experience
Working with the Creative Director, I helped establish the visual direction of the site while ensuring it supported intuitive navigation and interaction patterns.
Interaction Design
I designed key user experiences including:
Landing page interactions and carousel behavior
Mega navigation structure and interactions
Browsing flows that made product discovery faster and easier
Collaboration with Developers
I worked closely with the third-party development team to ensure designs were feasible and translated smoothly into a functional product. Together, we focused on creating a frictionless path from browsing to purchase.
Design & Testing
We developed high-fidelity styled comps for stakeholder reviews and user experience validation, iterating based on feedback to refine usability and engagement.
